Junior Australian Footy is about making friends and memories while having fun in a safe environment. Weekly training is followed by a match on the weekend. Junior Football is for boys and girls aged 7-12 where they are introduced to new mates, new skills, modified rules, and more contact, all in a safe, fun environment.
The Club was formed in 2018 when it was obvious that the local area was going through a population increase and there was a need for another local Australian Rules Football club to support the ever growing number of kids in the area.
A committee of passionate locals was formed and have worked tirelessly together which has got the club to where it is today. Working with local families and businesses has been significant in the clubs success and we are forever grateful for their ongoing support.
We are passionate about nurturing and developing young individuals into confident, strong and fit kids whilst learning the skills of Aussie Rules Football. We pride ourselves in being a friendly community club and welcome all boys and girls of any skill level. To ensure girls are finding the right experience for them, they can choose to play single-gender or mixed.
Our club is located in the beautiful beach town of Kingscliff, Northern NSW. We are assisted by AFL Queensland and part of South East Qld Junior Competition. People relocating from Vic, SA, WA and Tas with a footy background are particularly encouraged to help us grow the game here.
We welcome you to join our growing community club which is now working with all levels of Government and AFLQ to improve, upgrade and finalise a new home ground facility for the club which is essential for our ever increasing participants and growth of the club.
